From Practitioner to Educator: Creating Continuing Education Courses
Turning what you know into an actual continuing education class can feel overwhelming.
Where do you even start?
How do you organize your knowledge into something that makes sense for students?
What should you include… and what should you leave out?
How do you structure a class so it keeps people engaged instead of feeling like a long lecture?
And how do you go from being the practitioner in the treatment room to confidently stepping into the role of educator in front of other professionals?
That’s exactly what this program is designed to help you do.
In this 10-week continuing education program, licensed massage therapists, estheticians, and cosmetologists will learn how to take their real-world experience and transform it into a structured, engaging continuing education course.
Together we will walk step-by-step through the process of creating a course—from identifying the topic you are most passionate about teaching, to organizing your ideas into clear modules, developing learning objectives, designing teaching materials, and structuring an engaging class experience.
You’ll also explore how to teach in different formats, including in-person classes, online courses, and hybrid teaching models.
Each week you will work on a specific piece of your course so that by the end of the program you won’t just understand the process—you will have actually built your own continuing education course if you’ve completed all the requirements.
If you’ve ever thought about teaching… sharing your knowledge… or expanding your professional impact beyond the treatment room, this course will give you the tools and structure to begin that journey.
Because the skills you’ve developed over the years deserve to be passed on.
And the profession grows stronger when experienced practitioners step into the role of educator.
